What this site does — and does not do — with your data.

This site asks you for nothing. No account, no form, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers. We neither sell nor share any data.
Three processing activities remain, described below: server logs, a language cookie, and the emails you choose to send us.
The demonstration cases are synthetic sera, composed to illustrate the algorithm. They come from no patient and contain no health data. The demonstration does not accept data: nothing you may hold is transmitted, because nothing is asked of you.
Like any web server, ours records for each request the IP address, the date, the page requested and the browser used. Purpose: keeping the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining an available, protected service. These logs are kept for at most six months, then deleted.
A single cookie is set, named “silho_lang”. It remembers the language you chose so as to serve it again on your next visit. It allows no tracking, on this site or anywhere else, and lasts one year.
As an interface-personalisation cookie strictly necessary to the service you requested, it is exempt from consent — which is why this site shows you no banner. You may delete it at any time in your browser settings; the language will then be inferred from your browser's again.
The video thumbnail is served from our own server: as long as you do not start playback, nothing is requested from YouTube.
If you do start the video, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives your IP address and sets its own cookies, under its own privacy policy, and that data may be transferred outside the European Union. This only happens at your explicit request.
The addresses shown on this site open your own mail client: no message goes through the site. If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to handle your request and the relationship that follows, then three years after our last exchange.
The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, on servers located in Germany, within the European Union. No other provider is involved, apart from YouTube if you start the video.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact@silho.tech.
